A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a trained caregiver who provides hands-on support and guidance to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence, develop essential life skills, and participate fully in their communities. DSPs assist with daily living activities, personal care, skill-building, socialization, and community engagement, while promoting safety, dignity, and personal fulfillment for the individuals they support.
